Dealing with Spurs supporters

I'm not looking forward to this weekend when I'm meeting my two stepsons, both Spurs fans for over 20 years. In the past there's usually been something I can say to make them less cocky, but Tottenham have beaten us twice, they're progressing in Europe, they play attractive football, and they haven't paid much to acquire a potentially championship winning team. Is there nothing I can hit them with?

It's always the relative size of their shitty club that riles them. They are obsessed with it. All you have to do is compliment some of their players and then say they could do well at one of the big clubs. Their inferiority complex to Arsenal is really deep rooted and this feeds into their delusional system. They have been boasting about soon having the biggest ground in London, and it was deliberately built to attain.this, but our increasing to 66,000 will really upset them.
Also they are only doing well for a short period of time, they are not really a top team, they've just been having a good run under a very good Manager, like Forest under Clough, and llike them will soon find their real level.
You could also tell them that most other teams think tottenham are cunts.

Explain that whilst we are not the biggest club in London ,we are in FACT the biggest in east London ,no argument,ask them if they are the biggest club in London and whatever they say then ask if they are the biggest in north London , it never fails to get to them!

Ask them why for such a big club winning everything in sight why's there average attendance dropped below ours now...and remind them of the recent night when they barely managed over 33k v the Saints

Until they win a trophy with this "golden generation" then we have them over a barrel.
It's so simple. "How many trophies have you won in last 10 years?" None. Oh, same as us then.
All the CL qualifications and 'nearly' winning the league is all well and good but in the cold light of day it means absolutely fuck all. And I never tire in reminding the fucking retards of that fact.
I also never tire of sharing stuff on Facebook about their trophy cabinet. I laughed recently when the empty cabinet was updated with two new fake trophies which were "Harry Redknapp - King of the Jungle" and "Drawing 1-1 at the Nou Camp". Had to laugh.

Point out, that they are very similar to West Ham, in that in the last 10 years, they will have had more stadiums, than they have won trophies.
Yes, they have beaten us recently, but you could point out that in recent years, 2016, 2017, our later season wins against them, have stalled and ultimately derailed their title bids. If they are still in the title hunt come the end of April next year (when we next play them in the league), will they be looking forward to falling flat on their faces again?
When they mention anti semitic chanting, you could point out the hypocrisy of this, by referring to the Spurs fans who were convicted, for offensive chanting at Sol Campbell, when Spurs played away to Portsmouth.

For a team doing well, their support is atrocious, so fuck em.
I like shit hole stadiums that I grew up with as well, so I couldn't give a shit about their new gaff, as I guarantee I will have preferred their original place as I'm not into craft beer and cheese rooms.
Well run club who don't win anything, but have better days out in Europe than us.
I voted out, so aren't bothered about that either ;o)
